To Be a Child

~~ to share with you all, another poem I wrote

A loving smile...

Mussed up hair...

Fingerprints upon the

mirror.

Muddy shoe prints

tracked inside...

Doors left standing

open wide.

Made up stories....

Gentle hugs...

Fresh dried "blankies"

Warm and snug.

Each one different

yet the same...

Playing silly, foolish games. 

Papers on the fridge 

are hung.

Tears are wiped

one by one.

Abundant love...

Energy galore...

Who could ask

for anything MORE?
